Join us for a day of healing & friendship in Reiki. The workshop will explore how Chakras relate to Reiki and there will be a relevant guided meditation, plus a chance to practice Reiki treatments with other students.

The event is open to all students of all Reiki levels and styles, to develop their Reiki skills, share experiences and explore new ideas. Guests are also welcome but you must be attuned to Reiki to participate.

Saturday 1st February 2020 Social Event


A fabulous way to start the year and blow away the cobwebs of winter is to inhale the sea air and walk among the snowdrops.


Our social outing begins with a leisurely morning in Lytham, with lunch as you choose, followed by a visit to Lytham Hall, a Grade 1 listing Georgian manor house. A guided tour of the hall and a snowdrop walk is included, so we can enjoy a day out with tai chi buddies and guests welcome.

Daoyin Qigong Weekend


Daoyin Yangsheng Gong actively promotes health and wellbeing, unifying mind, body and breath. These simple and subtle postures lay the foundations for deeper practise.


Enhancing the  awareness of Qi and mindful connection to the body which brings balance and harmony to the flow.


Saturday will cover the foundations & Sunday will explore the next level.

Shibashi  Day


A day of gently paced workshops & friendship in Tai Chi, looking at the three Shibashi sets as taught by Lighthouse Tai Chi®.


Shibashi Taiji Qigong was created in 1982 in Shanghai, China by Tai Chi Master He Weiqi and Qigong Master and healer Lin Hou Sheng.


Shibashi  1 - combines elements from Yang style tai chi forms and traditional breathing and movement exercises from Qigong sequences. Shibashi was designed to strengthen the back and improve the general health and wellbeing of the practitioner.


Shibashi  2 - explores Vital Energy - strengthening the leg meridians and improving endurance for standing postures, while enhancing vital energy and wellbeing


Shibashi  3 - refines the Circulation of Qi  - developing awareness of the Circulations of Qi and enhancing the flow of Qi through the Micro-cosmic Orbit.

Event 5

A day of tai chi and qigong to mark this annual global event with Lighthouse Tai Chi & Qigong®.

We are also celebrating 10 years of Lighthouse Tai Chi®. From one group of 8 people in 2008, we now have 600+ students attending 20 weekly classes and weekend workshops. This is our first World Tai Chi & Qigong Day event at Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne.

The doors open at 9.30am, ready to start the event at 10am. There will be a follow along mass tai chi with David & Helena. Four taster workshops with 2 guest instructors Steven McLaughlin & Heather Bradbury and ourselves. The event closes at 2.30pm

£10 per person - all levels and beginners welcome. Box office opens to the public on 16th January 2020 - contact details soon. Advanced booking required. Please bring a bottle of water and a packed lunch.
